Hola amigos verdes!

Our meeting this week was held outdoors on the untamed, concrete wilds of the
podium..mostly b/c an evil sorority usurped our usual room. Stupid girls and their
stupid
club things.

Moderately-Aged Business:

Climate Change Agreement!- Apparently, the interim president George Philip has
verbally
agreed to signing the climate change pact that Peter LaVenia and the 'climate change
group' have been advocating. This is great news as we are presently the only SUNY
university center in NY which has not yet adopted the pact. Let's hope he follows
through
and signs!

Feast for Famine- As some of you may already know, the Hunger Action Network will be
holding a Feast for Famine event at the Egg on Wednesday, May 14th. The profits from
this food and beverage tasting will be used to help out local food pantries.
Volunteers will
be needed from 1-9pm- 1-5 for set up, and 730-9 for clean up. People who help will
get to eat delicious foods!!! Do it for your stomach.

Ana House fun- We will be collecting the money for our trip up to Ana's Adirondack
Abode (is it the Adirondacks or Catskills?!) at this week's upcoming meeting. Those
attending need to pony up 15 big ones in order to receive enjoyment from this event.

Elections- Elections will be held next week as well!!! Everyone hold onto your
hats as this
will truly be a race for the ages. If you have been to SOME meetings this semester
and are
an undergraduate student you MAY be eligible for a position on the illustrious CG's
board.
Amazing.

Protest May 1st- We will be making stencils and perhaps musical instruments this
weekend to be used at the Make Your Own Protest event on May 1st. Brandon will be
spearheading this effort, and will contact everyone beforehand about where/when this
gathering will take place.

And that just about wraps it up! See y'all next week!
